“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to chose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

~ Viktor Frankl

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am based in South Florida and provide therapeutic services in both English and Spanish. I specialize in treating adults and adolescents dealing a wide range of issues including grief, trauma, and maternal mental health.

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to enhance your relationship with yourself and the world around you. It provides an opportunity to work on issues that interfere with one’s freedom to live a more fulfilling, meaningful and authentic life. Whether it be past issues or present dilemmas, I provide a healing compassionate environment to help you work through the discomfort towards acceptance and resolution. I work collaboratively with you to understand your goals and establish a cohesive therapeutic relationship. I bring compassion, flexibility, connection, and creativity to each session facilitating growth and freedom of expression.

I believe each and every human being is valuable and has the innate capacity to heal themselves, their families, and their communities. My place in this process is to facilitate wellness, help foster resilience, and provide a safe space for healing. I practice with a strengths based approach using multiple disciplines such as cognitive behavioral therapy, existential psychology, and positive psychology. My areas of focus are in adjustment related issues, grief, maternal mental health, trauma and immigration mental health evaluations.
